Children and teens may be eligible to participate in this study if they:
Are between 2 or less than 18* years old
Have a confirmed diagnosis of generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG)
Other Criteria
Other eligibility criteria apply and will be evaluated by a study doctor if you and your loved one choose to continue with screening for the study.
*If you are under 18 years old, your legal guardian must complete the questionnaire for you. PatientWing does not allow or accept questionnaires from anyone under the age of 18.

Submit Online Questionnaire
This questionnaire will ask for a legal guardian’s contact information and a few questions about your child's medical history to determine their eligibility. Then, select a time for a short phone call with PatientWing. Submitting the questionnaire is voluntary and does not require a commitment to participate in the study.

Speak With PatientWing
PatientWing is helping to identify potential families who may be interested in this pediatric gMG study. You will have a short call with PatientWing to answer additional questions about your child’s medical history.

Speak With a Research Site
After your conversation with PatientWing, you and your child speak with the study team who will explain the next steps, answer questions, and review their relevant medical records. If the research team thinks your child or loved one may be eligible to participate, they will schedule a screening visit (the first official visit of the study to determine whether your child is a good fit to join).

Study Participation
If your child qualifies and you choose to join, you should expect the following:
Your child will receive the study drug 3 times during the treatment period.
You and your child or loved one will visit the study site approximately 13 times during the treatment period and 2 times during the follow up period. The study will last about 83 weeks (1.5 years) including the treatment period (52 weeks) and safety follow-up period (2 visits over 6 months).
We understand 16 visits over 18 months is a commitment. The study team works with families to schedule visits around school and activities whenever possible.

How long will the study take place?
The study is about 83 weeks long. This includes the screening period, 52 week treatment period, and the safety follow up period.
Is there any cost for my child to participate?
The study-required procedures and study drug will be provided at no cost. Reasonable reimbursement for travel may be available if your child qualifies for the study. You can talk to the research site staff about potential travel expense-related reimbursements.
Is there a chance my child will receive a placebo?
No, this study does not have a placebo. Your child will receive the study drug if they participate in the study.
Can my child or loved one leave the study at any time?
Yes. Study participation is completely voluntary and participants may withdraw at any time. Please contact the study doctor so that they can safely withdraw your child from the study.
Has the study drug been tested before?  
Yes, the investigational drug was previously studied in adults with gMG.
Why didn’t my child qualify?
Research studies are designed in specific ways to test the study drug for safety and effectiveness. An answer you provided was outside the guidelines for participating in this study. This does not mean your child will not qualify for other research studies.
about Generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG)
Pediatric generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) is a rare autoimmune condition that affects how the nerves and muscles communicate. In children and teens, gMG can cause muscle weakness and fatigue that changes throughout the day and may impact daily activities like speaking, eating, or playing. 
Common Symptoms in Children and Teens with gMG:
Symptoms may come and go. They can get worse with activity and improve with rest. Every child’s experience is different. Clinical studies play an important role in understanding gMG and developing new medications. 
Drooping eyelids
Shortness of breath or trouble breathing 
Difficulty speaking, chewing, or swallowing
Weakness in the arms or legs 
Double vision or trouble moving the eyes 
Feeling tired, especially later in the day
